Asia America Symphony Association 2019 Highlights

On November 17, 2019, the Asia America Symphony Association (AASA) hosted a tennis tournament, dinner concert and all-star jam session at The Palos Verdes Golf Club. The evening was filled with good food, friends, and a silent auction. The night was complete with an abundance of beautiful music provided by jazz pianist and composer David Benoit and some of the talented students of the various youth in music AASA programs.

In the 2018/2019 season two new philanthropic programs were introduced by AASA. Notes Bring Hope, supports music and the arts in the local youth community. In the summer of 2020, Notes Bring Hope will be hosting their first summer music camp to provide musical inspiration and opportunities for youth in the local communities. In addition, a music therapy program was launched in collaboration with Partners for Pediatric Vision and The Friendship Foundation. This program teaches children with disabilities to play the ukulele and provides ukuleles for them to practice and perform.
